Raquel Battle is running the 26.2 miles Long Beach International Marathon on October 11, 2009 in Long Beach California. This run supports the BlissfulSage Foundation’s Hospice and Home Care building project in memory of Raquel’s father Mr. Edlin Leslie Sr.. Mr. Leslie lost his Battle with prostate cancer two and a half years ago in the Southern village of Placencia, Belize.
